listed in our data base, but it is really fun to see where their point of origin (what part of Germany) they
came from and what year they emigrated but also where they chose to settle in America
at.
Other than your own German surname, we are certain that it may come a suprise to you
that there will be others eventually listed here with your same surname residing here in the USA that you never
knew existed... some with YOUR exact same name! These individuals may not be a recognized relative of
yours but may turn out to be a distant relative none the less that started a different family
storyline.
The simple purpose for creating

is to provide German-Americans with a means to showcase their respective German family surname for a sense of
personal family legacy, recognition, pride and identity.
Another unexpected benefit to
