GI's in Germany

This page is dedicated to all our brave American men and women in our armed forces that have served or are still serving our country overseas.

Over the years I have encountered hundreds of military personnel that were stationed over in Germany at one time or another and shared with me fabulous stories of German culture, customs, traditions and mostly good fun they experienced during their stay.

Their fond memories of Germany were comprised mostly of countless stories of (tourism related) exploration and adventure!

So in essence this page is about the native German people...  their culture, their rich homeland environment,  their ageless customs and traditions, the music, the traditional food and of course the festivals...  all observed and experienced by American GI's.

We invite you now to share with us some of your most fondest memories of your personal GI time in Germany whether it's a short story, comment or a video. It could be a reference to a certain festival that you attended or your favorite restaurant.

Many GI's often compared the cultures of the USA to Germany or even weather conditions however the seemingly most favorite topic the GI's discussed and shared most often was referencing both food and beer!

Imagine that!
